One of my favourite photographers is photojournalist and member of Magnum Photos, Steve McCurry. His work focuses on South and Southeast Asia and some of his work is known internationally for its beautiful and stunning colours and insite in to cultures of the said areas.His portrait work is what he is most known for, from wide-eyed children to weather worn elderly gentlemen. With the subjects eyes looking at you, you feel a connection with this person, the bright vibrant colours help the photograph stick out and capture the viewers attention.
Basically this guy is great so go and look him up and buy his book Looking East and see the true beauty of his work up close and personal, it will blow you away.
